I use HTML to structure pages, ensure accessibility and optimize SEO wherever possible.
I use CSS to style pages most of the time but I often employ a framework such as Bootstrap to help out.
Used in both the front and back-end of my projects, I am constantly learning something new in this programming language.
I have worked on projects using both SQL and no-SQL databases. Latley I'm focusing on MongoDB.
My editor is VS Code with a couple of great extensions. I mostly use Firefox Developer Edition.
Having come from BA and PO roles, I am comfortable communicating across all areas of any size team.
As BA, then later as a Senior BA, I worked on a variety of technology projects. I worked on large scale enterprise applications, corporate website overhauls and the development of iOS and Android apps. On these projects I was in charge of gathering and documenting business requirements and ensuring teams were aligned with client needs through quality user stories.
In these client facing roles, I split my time between the project office and the client-site. On these projects, I worked directly with the customer to define everything from product functionality to UX/UI. Here also I spent a lot of time with design, dev, testing and PMO.
I spent a good amount of time getting formal training and combined that with an open-source software engineer program. After that I started my own projects focusing on the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I also work with some popular libraries such as React, Angular and Node.
I am working a MERN stack application and really digging into React. I'm looking to contribute to opensource projects too. Take a look at my portfolio if you haven't already. 😁
